Originaire d'Ecosse, l'illustrateur Nick Dewar a étudié l'Art à Glasgow avant de partir pour Prague, Londres et New York, où il a habité presque 10 ans. Il réside actuellement en Californie.
Nick Dewar a travaillé pour de nombreux magazines et journaux: Forbes, GQ, Harpers Bazaar, The New York Times, Newsweek, Playboy, Time et le Wall St. Journal...
Il a également réalisé la couverture du best-seller de Lauren Weisberger: "Le Diable s'habille en Prada".
